Last year I met with a lovely young girl and her mother at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, Pa. They drove from New York state for the occasion, portraits with a castle background in Annika's prom dress. We scheduled a 60 minute golden hour session. Annika received 70 images in her final gallery and she LOVED them. I loved working with her and her Mom and hearing about her plans for college.
In my opinion, so much time and money goes into finding that perfect dress. I think planning a session before the prom helps alleviate some of the prom day pressure and you have a chance to wear your dress more than one time.
