I get a lot of questions about whether or not I work with small businesses on branding, product and headshots.
The answer is YES!! Truth be told, nothing brings me more joy than working with small businesses. I announced a few years ago that my goal was to shift into working with women in business. At the time, I was living in my old house, pre-covid era. I would journal about why I wanted to make that shift and why it mattered so much to me to do so. I have worked with many small businesses along the way from farmers, to a wildlife rehab, bakers, print makers, authors, life coaches, gallery owners, restaurants and cafes! Does it sounds fun and exciting? It is. There are so many avenues to take in the photography world and each one requires learning a unique set of skills that enhances your ability as a photographer/ business owner.
In December of 2022, I opened a new business with my friend and fellow photographer, Kristen Moore. We share our beloved space with two other amazing women, Jen of Pie Bird Farm and Annie of Wildbird Flowers. Kristin and I visualized a space that we could photograph our clients and also host workshops that will help others learn, create and simply have fun! Our business is called the Coterie Commons. If you schedule studio headshots with me, that is where we will meet. Side note, we have coffee and other refreshments for your enjoyment. ;)
