Tutus or Ties? Taormina's Of Ivyland

On Saturday March 28, 2015, I had the honor of being a guestographer at the baby shower of Mrs. Grace Ann Tinney. The shower was held at Taormina's Pizza and Pasta of Ivyland.  Josephine and Jessica, mom and sister of Grace and owners of Taormina's, turned the semi-casual dining space into a room that was delicate and bright,  perfect for this occasion.

From the clothesline of onesies, to the pink and blue gerber daisy centerpieces, one thing was clear, a lot of love and creativity was poured into this room. I had a few minutes before guests arrived to capture some of the unique details that made this day so special.  The life-size Melissa and Doug baby giraffe added an extra layer of softness to the room. He was so cute and fuzzy. Baby Tinney is going to love him.

After the guest of honor arrived, we sat down to eat. There was no shortage of delicious food.  Calamari, Taormina's Antipasto, salad and pasta were followed by the entree of your choice, Veal Sorrentino, Filet, Chicken Parm, or Grilled Brozino (my choice- yum! One reason why I love being a guestographer!)  The cake was a favorite of the all the guests. It was sweet and adorable. If you are looking for a unique cake for a special occasion, click here.

As Grace opened her gifts, the room of family and friends made their guesses of Tutus or Ties.  I think tutu... no ties... no tutu. I can't make up my mind but I know one thing is for certain, this baby will be loved, and that's all that really matters.

If life is about family, friendship, love, laughter, and good food, and I believe it is, then Baby Tinney has a lot to look forward to. Congrats to Grace and Jeff, I know you will make wonderful parents. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
