I LOVE LOVE museum weddings. My cousins Tim and Tiffany got married under the Carl Sagan LED light installation at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University. I offered to shoot the wedding as a gift to them. But I would say it was more of a gift and an honor for me to be there witnessing these two awesome people on their wedding day. Tim and Tiff invited us to join their rehearsal dinner at a Mexican restaurant the night before. Before dinner, I scouted the area for the perfect place for a unique first look location. After roaming for a bit I found a fire escape in an alley behind a bar. The walls that led to the fire escape were bright and colorful and there was a Ducktails mural on the wall beside it. This place was perfect for two artists. They loved it.
We had some time before the ceremony to take some group shots and candids around the town and at the museum. A personal favorite of mine is Tiffany and her sister, the MOH, cracking up in front of The Vintage Industry in downtown Ithaca.
They did such a great job planning their wedding. It was beautiful and fun. What more could you really want on your wedding day?!
I have so many favorites from Tim and Tiff's wedding it was hard to decide what to use for this blog. This is what I came up with!
