I had the pleasure of shooting Leah and Josh's wedding at the Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, Pa. The couple used the hashtag #pizzahoagies, I am assuming because they love pizza and hoagies and also because Josh is from New York and Leah is a sort of Bucks County/ Philadelphia girl. Leah and Josh met during birthright in Israel. One of the Leah's best friends told a story about how when Leah returned from birthright, she said, "I heard if you marry the person you met on birthright, that you get a free trip to the Caribbean." The rumor turned out to be false but Josh and Leah decided to take the martial plunge anyway! ;)
In many cases, I give directions to the couple during our shoot together. Leah and Josh were so in tune with one another I hardly had to say a word. Leah possesses a natural grace. She moved in front of the camera like a the dancer that she is. She was silly and beautiful and lovely. As a couple they were relaxed and charming, a pleasure to work with. I owe Leah's mother, Maxine for finding me and connecting me with Leah and Josh.
I wish them a life of love, happiness, friendship and belly-laughter. <3 Thank you for hiring me.
Thank you to Kara Foran of Kara Foran Photography for second shooting on this wedding! I know you are having a blast in Rome. X
