I sat down to go through some wedding images and pull out my favorites from 2015. I got sidetracked. I started looking at the images from day to day life. It's been a year exactly since we moved into our house. We love this place. It really feels like home in every way to us and I so grateful to spend part of my life inside these walls. I have become such a homebody. We do a lot of creating in this house. Ryan cooks everyday. Josey is usually crafting or making a mess somewhere around the house or outside. There is something to be said about just being and staying put with your family. There's a total of 8 families all sort of sharing the yard and most of those families also share the same driveway. I've counted three dogs, four cats and two kids. It is a pretty harmonious little piece of the world. The neighbors are kind and thoughtful. We respect one another and share. Josey and Sophie have found a friendship that will leave an indelible mark on their lives. They are wild and carefree, like children should be.
“A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one's neighbour — such is my idea of happiness."
